Katerina Kadena, is an expert in EU funding programs, having elaborated hundreds of proposals and business plans as well as implemented numerous EU projects during the last 13 years. She has extensive experience in organising and developing business cases and projects both in adult education and in the IT industry. She has elaborated and managed projects in a variety of fields and various technologies (Health, Security, Environment, Agri-food, entrepreneurship, resilient societies, IoT, digital innovation, SaaS, etc.) and collaborated with Research Centers, Universities, Public Authorities and Policy Makers across the EU. She has long experience in project management, as well as in areas such as tech transfer, IP and commercialisation of innovative products.
She is a PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, Certified Practitioner, a Business and Executives coach, and a certified 4D-Dream Coach.
Throughout her experience, she has been focusing on leading and growing international and national businesses by promoting operational excellence, revenue and growth.
She acts as a business strategist, business development and sales manager, a project manager, trainer, an EU funding expert, and as operations manager when needed, based on her multifaceted background and her passion for innovation and creativity. She trains, mentors, coaches, manages and coordinates people and projects with a “sleeves rolled up” approach.
She is a mother, a wife, kind of serial entrepreneur and computer lover and a dreamer and a visionarist.
She holds a Diploma in Chemical Engineering, a Bachelor in Law and an MBA. She is a PhD candidate in the Department of Informatics at the Ionian University working with the personalised treatment of neurogenerative diseases.
